His ray begins from the 95th degree of the sphere up to the 100th, inclusively, corresponding to the tenth decade and to the genius named Sothis; he presides over the 8th of April, the 19th of June, the 30th of August, the 10th of November, the 21st of January, which correspond to the influence of Venus. (See the sacred calendar, page 41.) The invocation is made from 6 hours 20 minutes until 6 hours 40 minutes; the 2nd verse of psalm 119 must be recited.
