72nd Mumiah. מומיה. His attribute is figured by the omega, which denotes the end of all things; he governs Thrace or Roumelia. His ray begins from the 356th degree up to the 360th and last degree of the sphere, corresponding to the last decade and to the genius named Atembui. (See the Sacred Calendar, page 41.) He presides over the following days: 30 May, 10 August, 21 October, 1 January, 14 March. The invocation is made from twenty minutes to midnight until midnight precisely; one must pronounce the divine names, namely, alpha and omega, together with the name and the attributes of the genius, as well as the request and the 7th verse of psalm 114. (Convertere anima mea in requiem tuam : quia Dominus benefecit tibi.) One must have a talisman which is on the frontispiece, with that of the genius written on the other side, which must be prepared under favourable influences indicated in the chapter on Cabalistic Astrology. This genius protects in mysterious operations; he makes one succeed in all things, and brings every experiment to its conclusion; he governs chemistry, physics and medicine, he influences health and length of life. The person who is born under this influence will distinguish themself in medicine; they will make themself famous by their marvellous cures, will unveil several secrets of nature that will make the happiness of the children of the earth, and they will devote their nights and their cares to relieving the poor and the sick. The contrary genius causes despair and suicide; he influences all those who detest their existence and the day that saw them born. I have indicated, in the preceding chapters, the manner of knowing the genii who influence the universe, nature and man; it follows from all that I have said, that the genii each govern ten days of the year. One sees first, by the second table, page 28, that the first genius governs from the 20th of March until the 24th, inclusively, which make five days, and by the third table, page 32, this first genius governs again five other days, by the effect of the five revolutions that take place every 72 days, for from the 20th of March until the 30th of May, there are 72 days, and the 31st of May, which is the 73rd, corresponds to the first genius, and so on.

Son rayon commence depuis le 356e. degré jusqu'au 360e. et dernier degré de la sphère, correspondant à la dernière décade et au génie nommé Atembui. (Voyez le Calendrier sacré, page 41.) Il préside les jours suivants : 30 mai, 10 août, 21 octobre, 1er janvier, 14 mars. L'invocation se fait depuis 11 heures 40 minutes du soir jusqu'à minuit précises; il faut prononcer les noms divins, savoir, alpha et ôméga, avec le nom et les attributs du génie, ainsi que la demande et le 7e. verset du psaume 114. (Convertere anima mea in requiem tuam : quia Dominus benefecit tibi.) L'on doit avoir un talisman qui est sur le frontispice, avec celui du génie écrit sur l'autre côté, lequel doit être préparé sous des influences favorables indiquées dans le chapitre de l'Astrologie cabalistique. Ce génie protège dans les opérations mystérieuses ; il fait réussir en toutes choses, et conduit toute expérience à sa fin ; il domine sur la chimie, la physique et la médecine , il influe sur la santé et la longévité de la vie. La personne qui est née sous cette influence se distinguera dans la médecine ; elle se rendra célèbre par ses cures merveilleuses, dévoilera plusieurs secrets de la nature qui feront le bonheur des enfants de la terre, et elle consacrera ses veilles et ses soins à soulager les pauvres et les malades. Le génie contraire cause le désespoir et le suicide ; il influe sur tous ceux qui détestent leur existence et le jour qui les a vu naître. J'ai indiqué, dans les chapitres précédents, la manière de connaître les génies qui influent sur l'univers, la nature et l'homme ; il résulte de tout ce que j'ai dit, que les génies dominent chacun dix jours sur l'année. L'on voit d'abord par la deuxième table, page 28, que le premier génie domine depuis le 20 mars jusqu'au 24, inclusivement, qui font cinq jours, et par la troisième table, page 32, ce premier génie domine derechef cinq autres jours, par l'effet des cinq révolutions qui s'opèrent de 72 jours en 72 jours, car depuis le 20 mars jusqu'au 30 mai, il y a 72 jours, et le 31 mai qui est le 73e., correspond au premier génie, et ainsi de suite.
