His ray begins from the 156th degree of the sphere up to the 160th, inclusively, corresponding to the 16th decade and to the genius named Thumis. He presides over the following days: 20 April, 1 July, 11 September, 22 November, 2 February: One invokes the aid of this genius against those who attack us in a court of justice (1), and to obtain pardon for those who have recourse to the clemency of kings; for this purpose one must name the name of the person who attacks you, and cite the motive; then pronounce the divine names with the 4th verse of psalm 32. (Quia rectum est verbum Domini, et omnia opera ejus in fide.) The favourable hour begins from 10 hours 20 minutes in the morning until 10 hours 40. This genius rules justice; he has influence over nobility, jurisconsults, magistrates and lawyers. The person who is born under this influence will have a retentive memory and will speak with ease, they will be amiable, witty and modest. The contrary genius rules all the bad qualities of the body and of the soul. (1) If the person attacked recognizes in their soul and conscience that they are in the wrong, they must accordingly invoke this genius to come to an amicable arrangement with the adverse party, without which they would not succeed.

Son rayon commence depuis le 156e. degré de la sphère jusqu'au 160e., inclusivement, correspondant à la 16e. décade et au génie nommé Thumis. Il préside les jours suivants : 20 avril, 1 juillet, 11 septembre, 22 novembre, 2 février : L'on invoque le secours de ce génie contre ceux qui nous attaquent en justice (1), et pour obtenir la grâce de ceux qui ont recours à la clémence des rois; il faut pour ce sujet nommer le nom de la personne qui vous attaque, et citer le motif; ensuite prononcer les noms divins avec le 4e. verset du psaume 32. (Quia rectum est verbum Domini, et omnia opera ejus in fide.) L'heure favorable commence depuis 10 heures 20 minutes du matin jusqu'à 10 heures 40.
